In July 2024, the Endurance marketing team had the privilege of volunteering with Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit dedicated to ending clothing insecurity for children in Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, and San Francisco. Endurance is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, near Chicago, so we were especially eager to support a local charity during our summer business meeting.

The team spent the day at the Cradles to Crayons Chicago’s “Giving Factory,” sorting and inspecting donated clothing to ensure quality items for children in need. Additionally, Endurance made a $2,000 donation to further support Cradles to Crayons’ mission of providing essential resources to children facing clothing insecurity.

How You Can Support Cradles to Crayons

Since 2002, Cradles to Crayons has delivered nearly six million packages containing basic essentials like clothing, shoes, diapers, and school supplies to children lacking access to these critical resources. By supporting children in low-income or homeless situations, Cradles to Crayons provides items essential to thrive at home, in school, and in play. Their process includes:

• Collecting new or gently used children’s items through community drives and corporate donations.
• Processing and packaging donations with the help of volunteers at The Giving Factory® warehouse.
• Distributing these packages to local children through a network of service partners.
