A certified vehicle is one that has been through a quality inspection process determined by the manufacturer and performed at one of the manufacturer’s franchise dealerships. Manufacturers often certify a used vehicle before sale or lease and typically will provide a time and mileage extension of both the bumper-to-bumper and powertrain warranties provided by the manufacturer.
