What is a VIN?

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a 17-character code unique to your vehicle.

To find your VIN, look in the following places: The vehicle registration or title, your insurance card, the driver's side dashboard or door jamb, or the front of the engine block under the hood.

Is there a mileage restriction with your coverage plans?

Endurance offers plans for all vehicles 20 years old or newer with no mileage limitations. Our team can work with you to customize a plan that fits your needs and budget.

Does my vehicle need an inspection to purchase a policy?

You are not required to get a vehicle inspection when choosing a coverage plan, but it is recommended.

What are pre-existing conditions, and what if my vehicle has them?

A pre-existing condition is one that, within all reasonable mechanical probability relates, to the mechanical condition of your vehicle prior to contract issuance or before the expiration of the waiting period. Failures that occur or begin to occur before the expiration of the waiting period are not eligible for coverage under your contract.

MY POLICY

When can I begin using my policy?

Your coverage is active after the waiting period is over. The waiting period allows us to ensure your vehicle is working properly and is an excellent time for you to review your policy and make sure it's the right coverage for you and your vehicle. Please refer to your contract for the time and mileage of your waiting period.

How do I view my policy online?

New policies may take up to 5 business days before being accessible through the portal. When your contract is active, you will receive an email summarizing your coverage, username, and contract number.

To view your policy online, visit the Endurance Customer Portal. Sign in using your email address and password (or contract number in all capital letters). You can view your contract, print your membership card, or make a payment in the portal.

How do I view my policy in the Endurance Mobile app?

To view your policy in the Endurance Mobile app, you must first download it from your device's app store. Download from the Google Play Store for Android phones or the Apple App Store for iPhone (iOS).

Once downloaded, open the app and create an Endurance customer portal account or sign in using your email address and password (or contract number in all capital letters). View your policy information directly on the main dashboard.

How do I use the Endurance Mobile app, and what can I access?

How do I use my coverage plan and benefits? 

If your car requires service for components covered under your vehicle service contract, all you have to do is contact Endurance. We can help you find a licensed repair facility, or you can also search the RepairPal Certified shop network for a shop in your area. Contact our Customer Experience team at 866.432.4443.

In addition, if you break down, get a flat tire, run out of gas, or even lock your keys in the car, 24/7 roadside assistance can assist. Call for a tow truck through the Endurance Mobile app or reach out directly to roadside assistance at 877.488.2418.

Can I reach you 24 hours a day?

Can I cancel my warranty?

Every auto protection plan or vehicle service contract (VSC) we offer comes with a full 30-day money-back guarantee. Our “return policy” is simple. We consider your first 30 days with a new VSC a “review period.” Take your time, read through your policy, and discuss it with your family.

If you decide for any reason that this isn't the vehicle service contract for you, call our Customer Experience Team at 866.432.4443. As long as you haven't used your policy during those 30 days, we'll be able to refund your money and cancel your contract.

What responsibilities do I have to keep the coverage active?

To keep your vehicle protection plan active, follow these best practices:

  • Read and understand your vehicle service contract to know what is covered and what can potentially void your plan.
  • Have your car serviced on time by scheduling routine maintenance checks.
  • Keep receipts and service records to assure that you have a paper trail of all your maintenance services if you ever need them.

Is my service contract transferable?

Yes, it is, and by transferring your vehicle service contract to the new owner when selling your car, truck, or SUV, you immediately increase your vehicle's value. Endurance can also cover any new vehicles you purchase, saving you money and allowing you to work with a provider you know and trust.

How do I know if my vehicle qualifies for full coverage?

Most drivers who request a quote from Endurance qualify for vehicle protection. We offer a variety of plans with varying levels of coverage to ensure you get what you want at a price you can afford. What is a vehicle service contract?

First, let’s start with a factory warranty. This is a contract between you and a company, often your car's dealer or manufacturer, covering certain repairs within a specific time or mileage range. Typically, the warranty falls within the first 3 years or 60,000 miles and is usually a part of the overall cost of the vehicle.

Once the factory warranty expires, you can choose to purchase an extended warranty or a vehicle service contract (VSC) to cover repairs and replacements. Generally, warranties and VSCs do not cover theft, damage caused by natural disasters, or vandalism. That is what insurance is for.

Claims are paid upfront, directly to the repair shop, for ALL covered repairs. We take care of the costs of parts, labor, and taxes associated with your auto protection plan. When do I file a claim?

We suggest taking immediate action after a breakdown by contacting Endurance. Our friendly Customer Experience Team is ready to help you begin the process of filing a claim. We can also help you find a licensed repair shop to get started on fixing your car.

In the case of a breakdown, contact our 24/7 roadside assistance through the Endurance Mobile app or by calling 877.488.2418. A tow truck can help you take your car to a licensed repair facility, and from there, you can instruct the service manager to contact Endurance to obtain authorization for the claim. It's important to note that filing your claim right away can help prevent further damage.

What happens after I file a claim?

After you file your claim, we will complete a final review to issue the authorization. All you have to do is sit back and relax while your car is repaired. We will reimburse the shop for the cost of the parts and labor, and you’ll be back on the road in no time.

How do I file a claim?

Best practices for filing a maintenance or breakdown claim with Endurance include:

  1. Take immediate action to prevent further damage and bring your vehicle to a licensed repair facility. Call 866.432.4443 or visit the RepairPal Certified shop network to find a location. If your vehicle service contract includes maintenance coverage, follow a similar process as outlined below.
  2. Have the shop obtain authorization from the policy administrator (aka Endurance) before moving forward on any repairs or maintenance.
  3. Authorize “tear-down and inspection” with the shop, if needed, for repairs. This will allow the facility to determine cause and cost.
  4. Review what will be covered with the service manager and have them complete your claim.
  5. Pay any applicable deductible (this will depend on the terms in your vehicle service contract).
  6. Keep all forms of documentation during this time.
  7. Sit back and relax while your car gets repaired!
