In every industry there is bound to be competition. The extended coverage industry is no exception. Finding the right auto warranty agency can be like picking the right car. Do you want the one with great gas mileage or the one with 4WD for the winter? Do you need the built in GPS system or does your phone sync up with Bluetooth? And don’t even get us started on the color!
Your best bet is to find an auto warranty agency that fits your needs in the best way. Find one that gives you everything you need so you get the best of both worlds. (Note: That Hannah Montana reference was not intended!)
When deciding which place to buy your vehicle protection from, you must look at a number of factors. For instance, you wouldn’t just go to the first dentist that you found online, would you? Didn’t think so, you would take some time to see what is out there and how they stack up to the competition. Things to look for are:
Reputation– A company’s reputation is something to take into consideration but doesn’t dwell too much on it. A lot of times, fraudulent websites and reviews can be posted from another company or disgruntled employee. Check to see if the website has any testimonials on their webpage before seeking third-party sites.
Website Appearance– Now, this may sound kind of vain, but it really isn’t if you think about it. A website is the online face of a company, and if they don’t put a lot of effort into giving a good first impression, chances are they don’t give their all in the business itself. A clean and simple website is something to look for.
Spokesperson– Another element that may sound vain and judgmental, but if a credible spokesperson is endorsing the company, chances are they’re a trusted business. Why would a high-profile person want to damage their reputation with a lousy company or product?
Coverage– This one should be a no brainer! If the company doesn’t have the right coverage that you are looking for, find out what coverage they DO have. Chances are they will have something that suits your needs, and if they don’t, it just means they’re not the right auto warranty agency for you.
Follow these guidelines and you’ll find the right choice. However, one important thing to remember is that you’re not buying an ‘auto warranty’ and rather a ‘vehicle service contract’. They work the same way, if something breaks down on your vehicle, we pay for it. But nobody can label their product as an ‘auto warranty’ unless they manufactured the auto themselves.
Get your very own vehicle service contract by giving us a call or filling out a short application online. It only takes a second and it can be your express lane to worry-free driving!
*A Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) is often referred to as an “extended warranty”, but is not a warranty. A VSC does, however, provide repair coverage for your vehicle after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. A VSC is a contract between you and a VSC provider or administrator that states what is a covered repair and what is not. Endurance is an administrator of VSCs and does not sell warranties.*
